As someone who creates astronomical art for a living, this cover brought tears to my eyes.

The astronaut appears to be using telekinesis to levitate the rifle and surrounding rocks.

Now that you mention it, even the astronaut seems to float above the surface of the planet. Perhaps it’s just a planet with no gravity? Everything in the background seems really floaty, too.
