Remembering Historical Events in American History Part 2

Um, I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that this was NOT published by the History Channel.

Boy, that’s skating on some mighty thin branding ice.

I think Disney is still behind half of the ownership, so… Bombs (lawsuits) away!

The History Channel branding would be more suited to a book about ancient aliens, sasquatches, or alien sasquatches. Certainly not history.

Isn’t “historical events in history” a little redundant?

If the book actually sells more than 1 copy, then the History Channel might want to sue. Otherwise I doubt if they will bother. The cover certainly is not going to help any sales.

Yes, it would be a waste of their money–BUT, copyright and trademark law is very clear–you MUST defend every infringement of your property, worthwhile or not. Otherwise, you create legal “cracks” in your ownership. That’s why Disney is so vehement about their properties.
