Okay, that eye is creepy big in the “glass” and the cat’s body is kinda wonky (they don’t look like that when up on their back legs), including the bend in that front leg. Beyond that, as a cover goes, this has potential but, as usual, the wonkiness overplays the okayness and here we are.
The body of the cat is too flat — like roadkill. The eye is definitely creepy. And the hat looks like it’s 2D and floating in front of the cat’s head instead of being ON the head.

Yeah, this is another of those covers that should have been a concept sketch given to a *real* cover artist.

If this concept seemed like something I’d care to read, I wouldn’t mind this cover at all.
Is it just me, or are those eyes looking in different directions.
Those really flat faced Persians are usually wall-eyed, so that’s the one element that isn’t wonky.
