The Whale Whisperers of Ensorclea

How do you say, “Hwonk hwonn” in a whisper?

Ensorcela? Isn’t that French for…

Yep, thought so. It is French for ‘Ensorcelled’ / Bewitched.

Dear lord! Have Whales just been whispering in French this entire time?!

It’s not too bad an illustration, despite the copy and paste aspect. At least it’s simple. The text is all in the wrong place, though. If you switch the title and author’s name, and change the title font at least, and place it so it doesn’t look squished and is readable, you have an ok cover.

Big-ass whale ass and big-ass moon. Screams “fantasy” loud and clear, dudn’t it? Well, maybe in Whale French. Do the whisperers whisper to the tails? Funny, I thought their ears were on their heads like other mammals. Live and learn. Apparently the whale’s tail is the important part in this fantasy–at least that’s what the cover SCREAMS: “LOOK AT THE WHALE TAIL! LOOK AT THE WHALE TAIL!” What’s the book about though? Whale tails, I guess.

Um… “whale tails” are the part of a woman’s thong that is visible above her back waistband. That bring a whole ‘nother consideration. 😉

Yikes! Whale tail, camel toe…these days a woman can’t wear anything without it being labeled as an animal part!

Makes me want to never leave the house…

I best be off to Urban Dictionary to research this phenomenon and make sure I’m all knowledged-up before I get dressed in the morning. 😉

Maybe they “whisper” in sign language.

It’s impossible to whisper under water in any language. What are these people thinking? You can’t take a common phrase and apply it to just ANYTHING!

Pssssht. ::waves hand dismissively:: Sure you can.

Isn’t that why you call it fiction? Who said it had to make sense or be based in any sort of explainable reality or physical laws? I mean, maybe they’re land whales!
