The cover sure doesn’t tell us much. Let’s check the description:
In a male-dominated world, a few friends try to escape, to find a safe place. A place where your body is yours, a place based on principals. A place where men and women are seen as equals. While most people on earth are suffering, their little community seems to be thriving. Everyone lives together in peace, or so they thought.
Hm.
Well, Amazon lists it under “Science Fiction & Fantasy,” which manages to tell us more than the cover and description combined.
This is supposed to be an edition of Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, and something inside me just died.
I would call it “the almost good cover,” but I’d be lying.
I got nothing. (h/t Marc)
Cheryl’s Song I: Revised Edition (Cheryl’s Songs Book 1)
Just think how bad it must have been before revision.
