If I were a gator book reviewer, a cover made of gator skin would be more than lousy, especially if the author were a gator. Author gator (traitor) probably cheers Swamp People.

The author knew his cover was bad so he put a disclaimer on the cover to not judge the book by its lousy cover. Obviously.
