Not only is the bottom strip laughably ridiculous, but the extreme close-up of grossitude turns me COMPLETELY off. I don’t want bookcovers to give me the heebie-jeebies.
Kind of like the background is photobombing the zombie… Maybe it’s 80% zombie apocalypse and 20% romance?
Geez! I’m eating here! This is disgusting beyong words. My stomach rebels…
If its about zombies, lovers of zombie genre won’t mind the gruesomeness of the cover. What made me laugh, however, is that the zombie looks a bit like Sylvester Stallone (around the eyes) … Rocky XVII
Isn’t that title ‘zombieist?’ Jeez, this is the 21st century – I thought we’d moved beyond that sort of thing. (I believe the politically-correct term these days is ‘decompositionally enhanced.’) Quite apart from the fact I’m NEVER going to be able to recommend this book to my mother now…
Still, I do quite like the way the girl in the bottom scene looks as if she’s saying “Don’t look at the floating zombie-lady – just pretend she’s not there and it’ll be fine…”
I have that app.
