Y’know…if anyone had asked me, I’d have suggested somehow covering one eye. Oddly enough, it would work better.
It’s not godawful. Not wonderful, but…there’s not remotely enough contrast. Not enough focus. Your eyes don’t know where to look. That’s a problem. If the eyes had been a gorgeous jade green…would have been better. (Or blue. Or even RED. Something that isn’t the same color as the rest of the cover.)
