This is an action-filled suspense novel about a new apex predator hunting humans. No, really.

Are you SURE it’s not a romance novel about the budding love between two meat eaters and their favorite food staple?

In that case there would be a half-naked picture of the food.

Would that be, like, a Big Mac with the top bun removed?

Yes. And with extra pickles.

Mr. Gwilliam (really, now, Gwilliam?) has unfortunately chosen the final scene of his story as the cover.

You know – the sun is rising on a new day, after all human life has been eradicated from the planet and the world can carry on in a new and improved state of perfect grace.

He clearly thinks his readers are smarter than us ignorant folk. His ideal reader would already know this is how the book ends.

Actually, I was thinking a sunrise on the first day of a post apocalyptic world of doom.

Isn’t that exactly what I just said. I guess I’m talking post-post apocalypse. When all the people poison themselves because they don’t know how to keep the refrigerators running.

You’re right, you did say that. I guess I just wanted to say “post-apocalyptic world of doom.”

I forgot to say, “And Carnivores.”
