The chaos in this cover is making my eyes hurt. Red blurry face, font with white spots and blurred graves are just too much for me right now.

Anybody else freaked out by the row of tombstones under Crescent Medical Center? Looks like a much more serious issue than the slapstick-sounding “chaos”…

What really bugs me here is that tiny black flag in the top left corner.
Oh, and the miniscule ‘at’.
And the white fill in the author’s name. FFS!
And yeah, pretty much everything else.
I kinda like the potential of those buildings as a backdrop though.

Is Crescent City Medical Center the tombstones or the buildings above? Oh well, who cares. That clown lady on the upper left can go home now. Please.
I like how people will put something on their covers like “A [fill in the blank] novel” as though there are readers lined up around the block waiting for the next one.
