Did they have to stick the same lights on the house as the boarder around “a road to Christmas Past”? The dog is sitting there like he’s not freezing his butt off.
Duck, little girl! That house is going to slide down on your head!
One of those images would’ve made a nice cover (sans the cheesy xmas light clip art, esp. tacked onto the house pic). And a more elegant or old fashioned font would have helped too.
Also drives me bonkers when nobody-authors have their names larger than the title. Just because it works for James Patterson doesn’t mean Kathi Daley can get away with it.
On the plus side: the images are crisp and appropriate to the title.

That makes me laugh. BTW, that dog looks really dumb.m
