Challenge! How many knew who Tia Carrera is WITHOUT Googling her?

“She’s a fox. In French, she would be called “la renarde” and she would be hunted with only her cunning to protect her.”

“She’s a robo-babe. In Latin, she would be called babia majora.”

“If she were a president, she would be Baberham Lincoln.”

— as Cassandra on Wayne’s World (But I don’t think that’s her on this cover)

I feel worse for anyone who Googled without Safe Search and accidentally found Asia Carrera.

I knew I knew!! That’s because I have ’80s and early ’90s damage.
BTW, at first glance (yes, I do need better glasses) I thought those white sails on the left side of the cover were The Michellin Tire Man’s torso.

I thought it looked like Tia, too. As for this cover, well, yikes.

I thought the point of a shield was so a sword WOULDN’T go through it?

Note to self: must find a proper armorer and stop buying these cheap lilac shields made out of plastic.

My Latin is rusty, but I’m pretty darn sure that subtitle makes NO sense. (Not to mention “chivalry” being shoehorned in there.)

OK, how many of you could read the Latin at the bottom without surfing to translate.google.com? (I couldn’t, and I had two years of Latin in HS.)

BTW, the Google translation is: “chivalry and love and the respect I”.

Funny, but I wouldn’t have had her down as a Walter…
