There, on the right, in the water. I can’t tell if that is an anomaly of some type or a disproportioned (though subtle) photoshop lens flare for the green glowy staff

It almost looks like a © or @ or some other copyright mark, together with the water directly under the higher trees, but that wouldn’t make sense. This feels homemade, not stolen.

The sad thing is that — unlike just about every other cover on this site — I can see why someone might think that this cover is OK. But it isn’t. It so isn’t.

Is this a contemporary fantasy or a medieval fantasy? The modern house in the background is clashing with the medieval costuming on the cover. Unless that really is a kid walking around with a tablecloth and a pool cue that, for some reason, lights up.
