Using an actual photograph of a weeping willow might have been an interesting way to go… Or this distorted combination of Snuffleupagus and Oscar the Grouch, of course.
As the daughter of the author, I of course think its great….however I respect your right to have your own opinion…I think its creative as she actually painted it herself.
