I’ve been coming over here a few times and … some of these covers make my eyes bleed.
After a while of seeing so much dross, some of the less drossy covers start to look OK, by comparison.
At first I thought this cover was almost there. I mean, it’s only used two fonts, and neither of them is papyrus.
And then I look closer at the ghost and see the expression on her face and . . . dang. It’s such a shame, this could have been a good cover.
That’s the frumpiest ghost I’ve ever seen through.

So many covers are ruined by the facial expression. Wherever these authors go to find expressionless faces, it must be a really hot site.
