I think that there’s a lot better ways of criticising George W. Bush than equating him in looks to a smiley Adolf Hitler. (Note to authors: Go read history books for other notable dictators and brutalising totalitarian regimes. There’s been more than one genocidal leader in world history and they still happen right now)
For people who already believe that Bush is Hitler the cover does work. I’d be amazed if the *FULL CAPS* author had anything to do with painting this though, apart from finding it on the internet.
I’m not a Dubya fan, by any means, but this is so beyond the pale that it’s ridiculous. Equivalent to the nasty posters of Obama as Hitler.
Plus, copyright 2003? GWB is out of office for going on 5 years now. How many copies of such a beat-a-dead-horse book does this “Orion” pseudonym think he’s going to sell in 2013 onward?

It looks like a dumb conspiracy theory book, but surely the critique should be about the cover and not the book? The cover art is not bad as a caricature, although the font does nothing for it.
The painting doesn’t make me think “pure evil” so much as “circus act.”
