2287 A.D. – After Destruction: A POST-APOCALYPTIC NOVEL (The Chronicles of Ashlyn Parker Book 1)

I’m glad the subtitle, gives some indication of genre, because otherwise…

Yeah. Nothing like putting a hot chick with skimpy attire on the cover to sell copies… or thinking it would. Doesn’t matter what the genre is, right?

They must have some awfully nice epilators after the apocalypse.

“Dune…Arrakis….Desert Planet…” (viewing that sandworm/cobra hybrid there). And it’s obviously really, really HOT where she is. Right?

Well she’s hot, just my opinion. Kind of a Dune vibe going on there but 2287 AD would be 21,000 years before the Dune Era. 2287 implies the Apocalypse occurred between the original Star Trek era and The Next Generation. So Earth survived the Apocalypse and was re-populated by Vegas showgirls (with the aid of James T. no doubt).

Back to contemplating the navel, er, book cover from a book buyers viewpoint. I can imagine an image file app randomly selecting eight images and challenging the cover designer to make a cover of them. It’s a mess and I would pass it over at the Book Rack. Sorry, no PosRein, just my opinion.

Dammit, where have I seen that woman’s face before? I HAVE seen that woman’s face before! Is it a younger Sharon Stone Photoshopped inside another woman’s body? Or that woman who played Seven of Nine in Star Trek: Voyager?

This is gonna bug me now..!
