I’ve never seen ice burn like that!

Hmmm, they don’t look dressed for a permanent ice age. Even just adding a scarf would help.

I particularly like how the author refers to herself as the “International Author of…”

I guess since this is a “romance” there must be some genre rule that the cover has to have a “steamy” couple on it but, really, this one would look a lot better if the stock models were removed.

They are pissed that they are even on the cover.

I gotta give it credit: I’ve never before seen a cover model with that kind of expression on her face.

What the hell is that expression anyway? Is it alarm? Confusion? Discomfort? Being asked what sandwich you want at Quiznos and not being able to decide?

I know that woman on the cover, she is a very nice lady called Jill who works in the accounts department at my work. I don’t remember her hair being that long though. The young man on the cover is very upset about something, perhaps someone has stolen his biscuits? We tend to share our biscuits at work. Jill would definitely share hers with him. I hope everything works out in the end. I probably won’t read the book.

THAT’S what that expression is! “Oh, that poor man! I should give him one of MY biscuits…but oh then I’ll only have one…and I was so looking forward to having one with butter and one with marmalade…and what if he doesn’t LIKE marmalade?”
