Geez, this is cruddy. I think the title is BOXED SET. Not only is the picture wrong, the font and color wrong, but the use of all caps is pointless. People, look at real books before you make one! Please. There’s no excuse for the stuff we see here that’s so far off the basics of what any cover needs to be a cover.
Of all the tidbits of information the author could have chosen to put on the cover — the genre, a tagline about the contents — he chose… the month it was published.
It’s his book. If he says that’s the most important thing about it, who am I to argue?
