What a ridiculous cover photo of a confusing collage. Cut and paste indeed!

No sales and no reviews since its release four months ago. Want to guess why?

I do!

Is it because people think this is a book about a monk who lost one testicle in an overly aggressive meditation session?

Good grief. You can see how she laid it all out on the table and took a pic of it with her phone or something. And then failed at Cropping 101 on top of it. I think that candle image is from one of those blank bulletins churches buy in bulk and then photocopy the Sunday services’ information on it. Probably even a copyrighted image. Sad. Just sad. And as a cover, horrible!

Some of those pics may be copyrighted against print use. Different from Ebook to print. I doubt they paid licencing.

The author should keep working on a new cover. Often after writing the entire book, proofing and all the work, you get blindsided when you realize you need to design a cover and jacket text. Sometimes the text is as hard as the book itself.

Authors shouldn’t design covers; they should write. There’s plenty of affordable, professional looking cover designers out there.
