The more that I want is competent execution. This is a sketch of an idea for a cover, not a cover. Though the font is handled ok I think. The concept isn’t bad either, pretty standard for the genre, but get a better artist please.
I agree, the type is pretty well done on this–even if the title could use more contrast against that blue. But the image needs more professionalism. Nice concept, weak execution.

The sad thing is, I looked at the book covers for the rest of the series, and they are all pretty decent! What went wrong with this one?
