Parted Light

This is the visual equivalent of hitting yourself over the head with a bat.

When I first looked at this I thought I was hammered. But I won’t start the heavy drinking for another hour or so.

It is hard to read, but is it Timothy E.? Possibly a relative of yours?

E usually stands for Ecstasy, if this is an example of ‘your brain on E’ I think I will just say no.

Perish the thought. If he is any relation at all he is part of the Maine Es. Those are some backwards Eees.

And, just for the record the e stands for whatever the hell I want it to stand for. Today it stands for . . . EXCELSIOR!

I was wondering what the heck you two were talking about, then I found the “E” after Timothy. What a horrific mess of illegibility.

“By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?” Job 38:24 Job had no problem discussing how light can be parted. I guess it is only illegible when put in today’s English.

I have no idea what I’m looking at. A Rorschach test on acid maybe?

Someone took credit for the illustration? Wow.

It’s currently no longer published. I hope the author is shopping for a new cover (and illustrator).

Who will NOT have awkwardly overlapping text boxes, and resultant blame, on the cover!

Oh – but it’s on Amazon! There is a different cover for the print version, and the title block covers the main part of the illustration! Which is STILL credited, BTW.

Thank you Nathan, we took all of these opinions into consideration, you may look for our new cover at your earliest convenience.

I will take your lack of response as a sign. Good or bad, who knows. But since no-one has responded in months, I guess ridicule is your go-to method of communication. Anything other than that is not worth the effort. Correct me if I’m wrong.

I expect your comment just fell through the cracks. I certainly hadn’t noticed it until now.

The new cover is way better btw. Although ‘Bu Timothy E.’???

Working on it, the Amazon cover is the current version. Thank you for the reply.

Thank you Nathan, I have looked at the sister page, right after I found the honesty here, hence the change. I understand that you must go through many, many covers. I find it a great service you provide here either way, I hadn’t realized just how bad it was until I read most of the above. I would love to have a more professional look to my cover, but wouldn’t want my fourteen year old son feel like I betrayed him by not using his art-work. Thank you for the reply, I will see about getting that Smashwords page/link deleted.
