Uh, isn’t that cover picture the one of Socrates accepting the poison cup of hemlock?

Doh!

…Even Plato(n) himself is giving it the finger, from the look of it 🙂

Ahem. I give you the book’s Description:
“This is an extended sketch of some of the ideas that emerge in the process of leaving Plato’s cave, a process I assume to be metaphorical, yet certainly deep, intelligent, and potentially wise. Many of the psychological states of prisoners, scientists, and intelligent children are evoked in an effort to convey the exact feeling of leaving the cave, at every step in the process, and even well beyond mere shadowy moonlight.”

And how many glorious pages does it take to cover this confusing convolution which surely has Plato tugging out his hair in the Afterlife? 14. F-o-u-r-t-e-e-n pages. Cost? $4.99

There’s not a pole long enough to get me to touch this thing. And as for my $4.99? This dude’s not getting it. Ev-er.

It almost takes 14 pages for the description. Or feels like it, reading it.

$4.99 for 14 pages? Bwahaha! Some hugely popular writers can get $2.99 for a short story; most writers price shorts at 99 cents, which I think is the right price point for a single short story.

For 14 pages of, what? A thesis? A booklet? I wouldn’t even buy it at 99 cents, based on the confused description.

Next.

That is some pitiful cropping. Starting with the top and that light blue line and going to the bottom where the picture was oddly cut in half and then not correctly put back together again.

Yeah, really! 🙂

Have none of these people heard of stock photo sites? It’s really not that expensive to buy a bunch of credits (something like $18 for 10 or 12, if I’m not mistaken). You can buy 2 or more photos that way.
