I suspect we’ve seen too many self-pub’d TG covers recently. The guy Jay is a math genius. The redhead Anita is his boss in engineering. They are developing a trans-light-speed stardrive.
Check out the nose and mouth of the pseudohuman on the “Rebel Heart” cover. I suspect pseudohumans tend to look like clones. At least the two on this cover have expressions of a sort.

It’s billed as a ‘hard military science fiction space opera.’ I’ll be honest, that’s not the first thing that would’ve come to my mind on seeing this cover – at least, certainly not the ‘hard military’ bit.
