An empty luchador mask (or at least one not on a human head) with some sort of swirly effect. Looks like zero thought or effort went into the cover. If the author doesn’t give a crap, why should potential readers?
That’s why there’s only a photon of hope…if the author had more than that, it would have turned into a phantom of hope (but that would have required the turd of experience, as Karl pointed out below.

Before you can have a photon of hope, you need a quantum of talent, a scintilla of skill, and a mouse-turd of experience. That’s just basic physics!
