I find that not-lined-up title very irritating. Just how hard would it be to fix that? š
And what’s the surf photo got to do with the book’s subject or genre? I’m compltely clueless here.

Heck, I don’t think it’s boring at all. I think it’s a masterpiece of minimalist ineptitude. So few elements — and they’re still all in the wrong place.
Meanwhile, verbatim from the book description:
‘the more closely he thought he was to the truth the more he got confused by the facts he gathered’.
And from the book’s only review — five stars, from the book’s editor:
‘I was completely surprised at how this story surprised me’.
See? The whole package is vastly entertaining. You just have to appreciate it in the right way.

So the editor is incoherent as well? What a – wait for it – surprise!
I think we need a new category: WHAT’S IT ABOUT? I see no games or switches.
Also, speaking as a proofreader, the lower-case “switch” is driving me batty.
Look, way off on the horizon. There’s a ship. THAT’S where the game switch is.
The covers that try to cram all the elements of a story at once into the illustration at least gives you something to look at.
