I was very confused by the pose of the woman on the left. After about five minutes I decided we’re seeing her from the side and slightly from behind, that’s her magical hand that’s flung out behind her and the weirdly shaped object to the left of her is a bewb.
Ditto. I still am not sure whose hand that is. The Elf has her boobs aimed to the left; she’s turned her face to her left, toward the reader. The hand could belong to the guy on the right, maybe.
Anyone notice that the kid bears a resemblance to whooseewhatsits, the Hobbit? The guy who played Frodo? He does. It’s not one thing, it’s just…there.
Confusing elf is confusing. For the longest time, I thought elf had a frowny face. Until I realized that’s just a wisp of hair slung over a Jay Leno chin.
And who’s holding the dagger?
From whence the explodey thing?
And yes, Hitch, there’s definitely an Elijah Wood vibe coming from the innocent, blue-eyed waif.
Thanks for going to all that trouble, but I still felt compelled two twist myself into a version of the elf woman just to see if that hand really is hers.
I think it is. The confusing thing for me was her bare back. I thought it was a loooowww-cut front and that her head was on backwards (it could happen). The back “musculature” doesn’t help with that first impression.
I still have a lot of questions about what is going on here – especially what is up with the unabomber in green?

Well, that’s not at all confusing.

It took me a while to work out that the elfwoman doesn’t have some kind of giant horrific mutant neck muscles. Now my back hurts from trying to understand her pose.

Also her clothes are falling off.
I was confused, too. I couldn’t figure it out. Thanks(?) for explaining so that I didn’t have to strain myself. 🙂
That’s a woman??! I thought it was some kind of pagan/viking hat.
Also, shouldn’t this have a Nagilum tag? (It took me a while to even notice the eyes, but there they are!)
Whoa! And I also only just noticed the glowing hand. This cover really does a marvelous job of leading the eye away from what’s important!

Heck, I can’t visually parse the elf at all. But I just found a leg in the bottom left hand corner. Or possibly two legs. Is she flying?

I think elf girl is throwing the dagger. Maybe.
Is the explodey thing a hand? I suddenly see fingers.
