Oh my goodness. Was every image element cut and pasted?

If every element of this cover is NOT included in the actual story I want my money back!

I would think the Grim Reaper’s reflexes would be too slow to be an effective goalie.

Zoom in: that’s a vampire with three bats. The only people who bring bats to soccer games are soccer hooligans.

Bear: “May I please have another, Master Ralph?”

I don’t think Ralph is smoking it, I think his woodchuck/prairie dog/groundhog/beaver(?) dealer is putting it his cookies.

House, boy’n’soccerball, shadow of vampire’n’bats, bear’n’tree, sign, beaver’n’cookie, tiger, various shrubs. All cut’n’paste.

We complain about “photo of empty path through the woods” covers; now, we are treated to a path plus stuff! And we complain?

This cover is our fault, so we should try to be positive! The charming part are the diverese light directions and intensities of all the elements; the overall effect hints this story is in the world of imagination. And the vampire strolling with three bat companions in sunlight is in defiance of all imposed normative paradigms.
