That spaceship is headed straight at those preoccupied dim-wits’ heads. (Gravity always wins unless you’re in outer space.) What the Hell are they looking at that’s more important than their impending doom?

Now this is a perfect reminder why book covers should be left to professionals.

Sheesh… Everybody knows aliens are little green men, not big purple ones. This is, like, sooooo totally inaccurate.
