Well, “existential” pertains to existing, but nothing comprehensible exists in this illustration.

I know exactly what you are looking at: a mess.

OK, the thing on the bottom right is obviously a skull. Is it in some kind of helmet (my first thought was that it had a blond crew cut)? Does the helmet have symbols on it, or is that just supposed to be dirt or damage? Are those things at either side ruined buildings, or a canyon wall? Is the grey thing to the left of the skull a femur right next to it, or a river in the distance?

I wish I could say this was supposed to be abstract, but I doubt it was.

Yeah, that’s a skull with a decorated helmet attached. Maybe those things on the sides are ruined buildings. The font? Looks like something I’d see on a super-sized pickup truck ad.

You mean like this pickup truck ad?

I don’t really have a problem with the font choice. It’s not great, but it’s OK in an ’80s post-apocalyptic movie way.

Perfect. I drive a Ford, but I liked that commercial anyway.

“I don’t know what I’m looking at. Really.”

Consider yourself lucky! 🙂
