Who in the world would buy this? I’m sure the red is supposed to make it hot as well as the overendowed woman’s chest. Since sex sells, I wonder if the young boys who oogle the cover will have any money? “Oooh boobies! Let me rub the cover!”

O.K.! I get it already! Sex Sells! It will be a miracle if the author sells even one copy of this book though.

LOL. I love this cover. It’s witty, a bit snide, and is effective in attracting eyeballs and getting readers to investigate further. Which is exactly what a cover needs to do. Granted, the subject, the writing, and the depth of information within are all critical, but you gotta get ’em inside the tent to succeed. “Good Taste” seldom sells well.

I did something similar running a college film series. I plastered 11×8.5 xerox “posters” around campus, hitting the bus stops especially. One film had a poster that said (in small sideways type): “This is not about” and then followed in HUGE bold horizontal type “SEX”. From a few yards away, all you could read was SEX. Below that was info about the film and venue. That particular film had the biggest audience of any film in the entire series. Worked for me and it will work for this author, IMHO.

Yeah, a bit crass, but, as H.L. Mencken said, “Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.”

Is that…Mom?

Mom!? Didn’t we have this talk?

Stop it!

Please! It’s embarrassing.

Does anything more really need to be said about this topic. Why bother reading the book. All you need to know is right there in front of you, if you know what I mean.

wink wink . . .

Is it meant to be boobs? Because, y’know, on first glance, I thought it was a fat plumber’s arse.

Or a fat girl in spandex bent over. Where’s her Tramp Stamp?

I’m guessing the ‘How and When’ are NOT going to be preceding the word ‘subtly’ at any point in this book then?
