Most of the time I get a good laugh over these covers. Then there are those rare times when they depress me too much.
We have a new bottom, people.
OMG! Since stick people were not enough we have now moved on to Ken & Barbie.
How does anyone know he’s pretty? We can’t see his face.
And, uh, the miniature/table-top photography is totally obvious.
We can’t see his face because even action
figures can be embarrassed.

Pretty Boy Guthrie is no match for Ugly Cover Stephenson.
I never thought about using action figures to play out scenes from a book and then taking a picture of it to use it as a cover.
But someone did.
The little cowboy looks like he just escaped my
nephew’s western themed birthday cake.
