Ah, I think I see the problem: Judging from the moon’s ’tilt’ and low elevation, we must be somewhere near the equator around noon. The moon should be the other way up, that’s all 🙂
I’m so used to squashed and stretched moons on LBC that this round moon is hurting my brain. Of course, it is tipped over on its side, so that helps a little.
Actually I think the rotation is about right if we’re looking at the last quarter of the moon as seen from somewhere near the equator. It is awfully big though.

Zoom in I think there are legs spread left and right and concealed in the hangy down folds of the cape.
What puzzles me is how the moon and the landscape could be lit up like that by one sun.
