I’m not sure I would have used that image as a cover to begin with. Might work as a painting, but it’s incredibly busy as a cover.

I discovered this Lousy book covers thread
about a week ago and would just like to
say whoever came up with the idea for this
has earned a special place in my heart.

Why, WHY do they always go for bevel and emboss??? Can’t they see how awful that fake 3D looks? It’s almost becoming a cliche or something.
