Although that could be shadows of the trees, clicking on full res it does look like the surface is reflecting the trees.

The big problem I see is that at thumbnail the art is not lousy, but I cannot make out the author or title. At thumbnail the title and author should be legible to casual browsing book buyers (unless one only wants to sell to those who already know where to find the book).

The art might be OK, but what is this? A bunch of trees and a weird wannabe castle? This is not better than one of those covers with a photo of an orchard or somesuch. It deserves the boooooooooooooring tag.

Is that a green and violet swamp those trees are growing out of or is just poorly rendered digital ground.
