Those two guys aren’t in the same place. The Native American on the left is lit from a spot in front of him and to his left. The guy on the right with his back to the viewer is lit from his left side.
They’re also having possibly the weirdest face-off in bookcover history.
The whole cover looks like something I left in the refrigerator for way too long.

The title is vaguely reminiscent of Brokeback Mountain.
