That is either a very small horse, or those two ladies are HUGE.

The horse looks understandably freaked out.

Of course he does! You know what it’s like to play that part in a threesome. The girls gang up on you; they ride you without mercy, feeling their oats, and then when they’re done with you, they treat you like dogfood.

Book 0 threw me for a loop. Apparently Book 0 is the prequel to Book 1 and was written after there were other books in the series.

But you don’t have to wait for Book 1! Book 1 through Book 12 of Timber Ridge Riders are already released and in circulation.
