I agree that the artwork is fine. The typography, however, sinks sinks sinks it.

Agree on the font entirely, and that it has an attention grabbing moon and clouds, but there’s the middle ground perspective too. Roads just suddenly go into slanty cumulus clouds at ground level now?
I agree on the road. It seems poorly positioned. I would’ve left it out.
Overall, I think this cover is salvageable with a better choice of font, repositioning of the title, and lose the road.

This is one of the few covers that is actually not truly awful. I agree that a mistake was made on the font, but that’s easy to do. When you are designing it full size it looks like it’s all good, and it’s easy to forget to see what it looks like teeny.

Bad clone job on the clouds. I see the same clouds above and below. And there is absolutely no excuse for the font color choice, no matter what size you are looking at it during the design stage.

I agree, the font hurts my eyes with that background. The background is pretty nifty though it could use some touching up.

Are all of the clouds’ shadows consistent with the moon’s shadow? Let’s throw a shadow in for the title font, too, in yet another direction, just for good measure.
That’s too bad. Not sure what it has to do with safe asylum, but I think the moon & clouds are a rather nice eye-grabbing visual.
