Don’t even the freebie graphics packages allow skewing or curving imposed type to match the background? Lazy and careless cover does not sell the book. It would have been better with handpainted text on the painted bottle.

So Douglas Rappaport is 39.5% alcohol. That might explain how this came to be seen as a good cover idea.

First of all, this isn’t even the final cover. I don’t know where you got this version. Secondly, a teenager did the cover. I picked it for a reason as she did several. It’s not supposed to look perfect. And lastly, don’t judge a book by its cover.
This was the cover for the print version offered for sale on Amazon. If you click through the link, you see that it’s STILL the cover of the print and Kindle versions offered by Amazon. So this is what the entire world is seeing.
I guess he’s never seen a bottle with text printed on a label.
