This is the first cover I have seen with a font drawn by mouse!
Seriously, you can’t even afford Times New Roman?
I think you nailed it. Mouse-drawn typography. Not smart.
And… GREEN!
Actually, I like the writing — it’s appropriately creepy, even if there is far too much of it and most of the words are rubbish. The layout works for me too.
But flat GREEN?!!
That’s a font? All I see are pale scribbles around the silhouette of a baby bottle with an arm.
Since when is dead a noun.
I mean, what does “A Dead by Dawn” even mean? What’s a dead?
Dead by Dawn makes sense, and has been the name of a few things.
A Dead by Dawn? Complete nonsense.
I think it makes sense if you read it as, “A ‘Dead by Dawn – The Eversors Arising’ Chronicle”. Sort of.
The “artwork” is still beyond atrocious.
Never heard of Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn???
As for this cover, I kinda like it but the green could be toned down a bit!
Maybe the article “A” applies to the noun “Chronicle” which is part of “Dead by Dawn: The Eversors Arising”?
