I got kind of excited when I thought the subtitle was, “Hookers and Heroes.”
On the copyright page it says, “Some illustrations by Jessica Dunlop. Composte illustrations by Belinda Vasquez Garcia.” No mention about the artwork created by John Bauer or Arthur Rackham. But they’re dead so I guess it doesn’t matter.
My first thought was, “stolen image.” It’s amazing people don’t know any better.
Maybe they thought leaving Rackham’s signature right there in the lower right was enough?
I think the caterpillar’s face was taken from an official University website photo of my old Data Structures professor.
