The urge to photoshop an iPhone into his left hand is almost overpowering.

Honestly, my urge was to change that into a hair dryer!

Why’s he carrying a salt shaker, anyways?

A lot of the tavern mistresses are watching their blood pressure and trying to do low-sodium cooking. When you’re lugging your giant sword across country, you have to bring your own salt with you, or you’re going to end up eating under-seasoned food most nights.

Are yu two sure that’s not a peppercorn grinder? I mean…flaked salt you can put in a simple pouch, but to make those peppercorns stay freshest for the grind…takes planning.

I guess it could be a small thermos. But at that size it’s more likely a soup offering for the faeries.

I guess the sword retracts to fit the sheath

OMG! That’s what’s in his left hand! Even after a misspent youth in medieval and renaissance re-enactment, I could not see that.

Hell, it looks like the sheath expanded to fit the (cough) sword…b/c otherwise, where the hell IS the rest of the sheath, eh?
