Somebody, anybody, explain to me the love for this font, this blackletter font, here? With this color? Placed as it is? Y’know, I realize that it’s politically incorrect these days to make wisecracks like this–but who typeset this, Stevie Wonder?

I don’t think that the image is good, either. There is no dominant element, no focus. It’s just a bunch of vague swirlies with nothing in the center but fog.
Agreed – I was going to say I liked the mirror/swirly energy art (maybe because it reminds me of a favorite scene in “The Time of the Doctor”, Matt Smith (11th)’s final bow), but you make a good point – Ron with his analysis and that we’re losing our perspective by seeing much worse covers!!

Well…agreed, but hell, Ron, we’ve seen so so so much worse, I guess we’re all losing our perspective. 🙂
