I think that the saddest thing about so many of these covers—this one included—is when the cover illustrator and designer are so proud of their work that they get credit inside the book.

An elastic bowstring that stretches and a bow that does not bend … no wonder the dragon looks perplexed.
When you draw a real bow, it does not look the way that bow was drawn.
