Yabbut, with Disney now basically owning, like everything, from SW to Marvel, et al, in terms of movie-making, just think how cool Castle v. Cthulhu would be. AWEsome.
And I want that dude that played him in the NFLX show, too. Thomas Jane was okay, but that other guy was great.
(FYI, I actually liked Dolph in that el-cheapo version back in what, the 80’s? ’89 or ’90?)
Agreed. I don’t care how sappy it is, I’m still a big Dolph fan. (and, yes, I’ll say it! As an older, fine-wine-aged person, I loved The Expendables. HA!)

The big problem with most of Lovecraft’s fiction being deemed public domain is that the situation is now as with Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein”: we are getting a lot of not only lousy book covers but cut and paste of reprints of texts we know were bowdlerized by Lovecraft’s pulp fiction editors and publishers.

I was going to say something similar but you took the words out of my mouth good one Nathan
Aww, Nathan -*I* wanted to say that! Well maybe they can have a “The Punisher vs the Elder Gods” series!
A big plus to being the webmaster: I get first dibs on all punchlines.
That would be amazing.
“The Punisher Vs. Cthulhu.” Oh, baby. Where’s a Marvel-level filming budget when you need one?
With Marvel Studios, mostly — and I don’t think they want to introduce the Mythos into the MCU canon. (A graphic novel, though, maybe?)

I’d like to see Dolph NOW in in our hypothetical movie — he just keep getting tougher-looking as years go buy.
