I read that as “A War Witch God” and thought, “That sounds more fantasy than science fiction”
I like that title! Too bad it’s not this one.
Yep, this cover clearly conveys hostility on an epic, divine scale. Particularly the “science fiction novel” subtitle.
It’s that offset tagline that drives me crazy!
