Does that actually say, “illustrated with DOODLES?SERIOUSLY?

The world has gone mad. I mean, sure, people want to make a few undeserved pennies, republishing other people’s work, for a buck here and there, but DOODLES, to count as the “differentiated content” at KDP????

Yes. The blurb for the book says “Illustrated with book-end doodles about reading”—unfortunately (or fortunately) none of these show up in the preview.

I really like the idea…too bad the execution sucks. (Or, maybe to be fair, the scanning/reproduction sucks—it’s hard to tell.)

Would Frankenstein as american Gothic have been better or worse?

I love how Mary Shelly has her hand so possessively upon the monster’s thigh. Like she’s saying, “Our love is a forbidden love.”
