To be honest I would read Identity Uncertain. I want to know what happened to have an exact count of ants killed.

Dead–If Only—comes so close! Typography aside, while the art is nicely enough done, there is a cut and paste, mix and match quality to it that is jarring. The girl is out of scale to the members of the band marching behind her, her shadow and the wall she is standing on is rendering realistically and the cat is just floating in the air (I guess)
Yael—Nope on just about every level
Kicking—Nope
Maggie—better…but awful typography and nothing to even hint as to what the book is about
Self-Improvement—sure didn’t apply to this cover
Identity—Nope!
Merry Xmas—Well, it’s certainly better-looking…but aside from the cat being cute and some mistletoe, what in the world does it say about the book?
Blood, etc.—nope
Fogbound—Well, finally! This is very nice. I would have only made the tagline and author’s name a wee tad more readable…but otherwise great.
Just a Kiss—nope

I can’t decide if self-published mysteries or self-published romances are the blame for bloating the market with subpar covers and work. Who is the culprit, my friends? The covers leave me in a confusion.

Mail-order werewolf bride murder mystery cozies, brother. You’re missing the cross-genre sub-genre.

“Yael” (not to be confused with the Yael Uniserivty) traded the Cargo Cult Template for a completely unreadable font in the byline, seeming like Amharic or some script like that at the first glance.
