Forgot to mention the fantastic lighting. The wily sun kept moving as they tried to create this cover, changing location as it lit the sky, then the landscape, and then the characters. Such a trickster, this western sun.
I’m particularly taken with that 19th-century bracelet she’s wearing there and just exactly what is that bridge doing with that knee, one wonders?
