Who on earth pays for custom artwork like that, and then slaps it into that horrible cover template with Cover Creator? And uses the worst-possible font and font color, for the title?

Who does that??????

People who think template-generated covers are a good idea in the first place.

They can’t be helped, Hitch.

I actually drew that myself and put my original image in to cover-creator

Mary, that is REALLY good artwork! Please, don’t ruin it with Cover Creator’s dreadful template. , perhaps she could take another stab at it, and take it over to CoverCritics.com for some help?

Mary, IF you use Word (if not, ignore me), Derek Murphy has a wonderful set of templates, completely free, that you can use to create your own covers, at his website DIYBookCovers.com . Given how good your work is, why don’t you see if you can do something with that? Or, heck, take your artwork over to Canva, or something like it, and use that to add your title, tagline, byline, etc?

If you can use Word, or have a Canva account, or anything like that, I think you can do SO MUCH BETTER.
